CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT PERSON
About The Role:
You’ll be the first point of contact for all future, past and present customers, so you will provide both customer service and support. You’ll be able to do it in a way that makes sure that the customer is informed without being overwhelmed, is having fun the whole time and has an overall fantastic experience dealing with us. Our success relies on our amazing customer service.
You’ll answer questions about pricing, materials, shipping, sizing and custom design.
You’ll be in charge of triaging all incoming communication via our Customer Service Portal and assigning messages to the appropriate person.
You’ll lias with the customer and Ash to help people work through a custom design process including quoting for the piece and setting up the invoice/order via our e-commerce sites.
You’ll gather customer photos and stories to be used in social media.
You’ll have light admin duties including packaging, posting, filing and ordering office supplies.
This is a part-time position that can offer some flexibility in the hours worked (although there will be some set times/days). The hours vary a bit week to week, usually around 15.
We’re a small, family business that makes (mostly wedding and engagement) jewellery in our local workshop for our customers around the globe. We have the best customers in the world, we treat them like family.
Our ethics are present in everything we do, from the way we source our materials, produce our pieces and run our workshop to the way we look after our employees. We laugh a lot, work hard and listen to National Radio all day.
Most of all, we want to be a place where it’s ok to be a badass. There’s nothing worse than showing up for a job where no one’s really interested in kicking ass.
You have excellent written communication skills, problem-solving skills and are an incredible listener.
You understand how to give amazing customer service and have experience doing so.
You are comfortable learning software and apps you’re not familiar with and consider yourself tech-savvy.
You are incredibly organised and focused on the details.
You love to help people.
